Topic: People say watching TV is a harmful habit.
I watch television everyday whenever I have free time, after school, after doing homework or during eating meal. I love watching so much. Watching television brings us a lot of practical benefits.
Television is the one of the greatest inventions of humanity for several reasons. First, television provides a lot of new strange knowledge about life through the news or the daily programs. They are always updated, so we are easy to keep. We can absolutely believe because of exact and fast information. Some people say that watching television is a harmful habit. May be they mean it is harmful for eyes, it makes children lazy with their studying. That is really a mistake. Once children want to be lazy, they can think out another plans such as going out with their friends, asking their parents for playing sports, chatting in the Internet instead of doing their homework or something like that. In addition, it is not harmful for eyes if we sit a suitable distance to the television and watch in the permission time.
Next, television is convenient. We immerse with information that it brings without going far away. We can know what is happening even we are not there. For examples, we are in Vietnam, we can hold the news of America which is the country far a half of a circle from us, or the war between America and Iraq. We can live in the stories that films perform, sympathize with the hurt of the characters. We can enjoy with the fashion programs, so we do not scare about unknowing modern fashion. Some people say television wastes time. However, if they see its usefulness about helping us to relax after stress lessons or working, they will not say that.
Nowadays, television became a familiar equipment that can not lack in each family. We can also find information in the Internet but television still affirm its position because of its practical benefits.
